A short play as meditation on the primary and secondary functions and realities of art production, curating and ‘art as exhibition’. Wade will take us on a short journey through the stages of exposition, rising action, climax, falling action and denouement hinged on the proposition ‘art is not exhibited, art exhibits’.

Gavin Wade is Director of Eastside Projects, Birmingham, an artist-curator and Publisher of Strategic Questions. In 2010 he received the Paul Hamlyn Foundation Breakthrough Fund Award for exceptional cultural entrepreneurs.
